The Posh+Lavish foundation is made from solid spruce wood. It is not a composite material so it does not contain formaldehyde. There are 14 slats in a queen foundation and is ideal for the weight of a latex mattress. Each slat is approximately 2 3/8″ wide and the slats are approximately 2 3/4″ apart. Our foundations are made in the United States. The high profile foundation is 9”. The low profile foundation is 5”. The super low profile foundation is 2”.
